About
I am an astronomer with main research interests in gravitational-wave progenitors, binary evolution, and massive stellar evolution theory. I use large grids of simulations to learn something about the elusive life of massive stars.
Starting August 2025, I am an assistant Professor in the Astronomy department of Radboud University, Nijmegen - the Netherlands. Before this, I was a Research Fellow at the CCA of the Flatiron Institute and a Lyman Spitzer, Jr. fellow at Princeton University. I completed my Ph.D. at the Center for Astrophysics, Harvard in May 2023, and obtained my bachelors and master's degree from Leiden University.
