About
I am an astronomer with main research interests in gravitational-wave progenitors, binary evolution, and massive stellar evolution theory. I use large grids of simulations to learn something about the elusive life of massive stars.
Starting August 2025, I will be an assistant Professor in the Astronomy department of Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I am currently a Research Fellow at the CCA of the Flatiron Institute and a Lyman Spitzer, Jr. fellow at Princeton University. I am furthermore a fellow to the Princeton University Society of Fellows. I completed my Ph.D. at the Center for Astrophysics, Harvard in May 2023, and defended my thesis for a joint doctorate at the Anton Pannekoek Institute, University of Amsterdam in December 2023.
